Native English Teacher for adults and kids

My mission as an educator is to build a sense of inquiry, confidence, belonging, safety and balance in each of my students’ lives. With every classroom filled with different types of learners it is important for me to create an inclusive environment where a child’s needs are reflected in my teaching by providing accommodations and differentiation to encourage learning opportunities for all students and giving them the tools to succeed. From my experience I have learned that children embrace education through hands-on practice and inquiry based learning. My belief in learning is not limited to the classroom, but extends to the playground, the lunch room, the stage, their home, and beyond. My classroom is one in which students participate through learning centers, group work, peer mentoring, and individualized learning plans. I have always had a passion for making a difference in a person's life. Through my experiences from volunteering at community organizations, tutoring young children and taking leadership roles in managing monthly neighborhood meetings I have found my purpose is to enrich the lives of other.I have used technology in kindergarten to 4 classrooms that allowed students to relate and interact with their learning in an interesting manner. I also have been involved in Peace by Peace organization, which is a program that empowers children with the ability to prevent, manage, and resolve conflicts in their lives, schools, and community.I am adaptable, reliable and professional.
