Let's discover and enjoy learning a new language together!

Hi there! I have two undergraduate degrees: BA degree in International Relations (at Boğaziçi University) and Bachelor of Education in ELT (at İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa). Over the past twenty years I have worked in the financial sector, the United Nations, Consultancy, and the educational sector. I worked for UNHCR and UNICEF after my graduation to obtain international work experience in non-profit organizations like UN. From April 2007 on, I started to work in Education Sector as an HR Manager of various private schools. I mainly set up the HR departments, managed the recruitment process of teachers and administrative staff. I also attended International Teachers’ Fairs at Toronto and Dubai. After working as an HR Manager in private schools, I changed my career and moved to a teaching role. Currently, I’ve been working as an English Teacher since September 2021 in a private K-12 schools in İstanbul. I have lived in Germany (Cologne and Leipzig) for a year for Education Project and Erasmus + Project. I also have travelled almost all Northern Rhine Westphalia during my stay. I have been in Munich, Heidelberg, Trier, Berlin and Leipzig. I'm an amateur parachutist and a digital content creator. I also like learning new languages, cultures and meeting with new people. As a lifelong learner and a teacher, I'd love to meet with those who are eager to learn :) Cheers, Tûba (P.S: I have currently been living in İstanbul,Turkey)
