According to Mark Manson: A conversation (with a fluent speaker) is better than 5 hours of language lessons or 10 hours of learning the language on your own. Having a conversation with someone is a complex thing. It's a mixture of listening, understanding (what the person is saying), preparing the answer in your head and expressing that answer orally. A language is not something you learn by heart. A language has to be processed. I am originally from Peru, but have been living in Germany since 2016. I completed my schooling at a German-Peruvian school and have been in contact with German culture since I was a child. I did my bachelor studies in biology at the TU Dresden in German and am currently finishing the last semester of my biology master's degree in English. I am currently working as a research assistant in the botany department. I started tutoring when I was at school. I found subjects like history and biology the most interesting. During my studies, I always wanted to offer language tutoring, but didn't have the time. But now I do! I am experienced as an English and Spanish teacher and am ready to offer my help.
