Native English speaker in Duisburg with career in broadcasting and journalism, degrees in English and French. Lessons for all ages

Hi! I'm Kate, and I'd love to help you speak English more naturally, study for your IELTS, ace a job interview, or write more fluently. I'll use my background in journalism, broadcasting, and professional writing to help you iron out the wrinkles of your English speaking and writing. Interested in Slang? Idiomatic phrases? Business phrases and communication styles? I've got you covered. I offer 30-minute or 60-minute online lessons, or 60-minute lessons in-person if that's your preference. During our first meeting, we'll write down your goals, preferred practice style, and current stumbling blocks. Each week, we can refresh the things we learned the session before and continue building new skills. If you like, I can assign "homework," such as songs to listen to, movies to watch for reference, and online articles to read for further learning. Let's have fun while working toward your goals. I look forward to getting to know you.
