English Tutoring – Learn from Someone Who's Been There

I know what it feels like to sit in a classroom and not quite follow what's being said. I moved to the United States as a teenager, and English was my second language. I remember the confusion, the self-consciousness, the moments where words just wouldn't come — and I remember the day things finally started to click. That experience never left me. It shaped how I teach. I'm Julius, a software engineer turned educator with a TESOL/TEFL certificate and hands-on classroom experience teaching English literature and Cambridge IGCSE Geography at an international school. But more than credentials, I bring a genuine understanding of what it means to struggle with a language — and what it takes to grow through that struggle. My work has taken me across the world — Mongolia, Bhutan, Australia, the Netherlands, United States, Finland — where I've collaborated with people from dozens of cultures and heard English spoken in every accent imaginable. That exposure has made me a flexible, patient communicator who meets learners where they are. Whether you're a beginner finding your footing, a student preparing for exams, or someone who just wants to speak with more confidence — I'd love to help.
