English teacher with behaviour managment skills

I am an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, behavior management, and welfare support, uniquely positioned to contribute to a teaching role. As an English teacher at Benchama Maharat School, I established a positive and inclusive classroom environment, integrating technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and achievement. My strong communication and interpersonal skills allowed me to build meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, both in person and remotely. In addition to my teaching experience, I have extensive background in behavior management and support. As a corrections officer at Rimutaka Prison, I maintained order and security, supported prisoners' safety and wellbeing, and liaised with medical teams, case managers, and probation officers. My role as a behavior specialist at CBI Consultants involved supporting children and adults with diverse abilities and medical conditions, conducting assessments, creating care plans, and collaborating with schools and caregivers to promote personal growth. At Belfast City Hospital, I worked with children and teenagers with medical and neurological conditions, contributing to care plan development, suggesting effective interventions, and facilitating professional team coordination. My experience in welfare support and guidance counseling further enhances my ability to support students holistically. At TUI UK, I assisted customers in challenging circumstances, liaising with local authorities, documenting incidents, and providing comprehensive support, including media communication when necessary. As a student guidance counselor at Marmara College, I supported teenagers with special needs, providing individualized support focused on mental preparedness and growth, and assessing their learning capacity to enhance further education. I am committed to helping students unlock their full potential and attain academic success through a holistic approach that combines educational excellence with strong support systems.
