Certified English teacher with over 10 years of experience in education

Hi there! My name is Eithne, and I come from Belfast in Northern Ireland, U.K. I have a BSc degree from the University of Surrey in Nutrition/Dietetics. I am an embodied teacher, with a passion for educating and sharing with others. I taught music as a part time job from the age of 15. I helped my patients and clients amend their diets and lifestyles to improve their health outcomes whilst working as a dietitian. As a certified yoga teacher, I also love to teach yoga, mindfulness, and acro yoga. And since 2014, I have taught hundreds of students English as a foreign language, ranging from kindergarteners to adults. So you can probably tell that I really love teaching! My hobbies include health and fitness, yoga and acro yoga, food and cooking, binge-watching TV and movies, music, and traveling. I am currently based between Berlin, Germany and Koh Phangan, Thailand. I want to help you speak naturally and comfortably in English! If you are an intermediate or advanced student, we can work together to focus on your specific English learning goals. - Business English: interview prep, niche vocabulary, meetings and presentations - Travel/Relocation: useful vocabulary, how to navigate through a new place where English is the common tongue *extremely useful* - Conversation: health/wellness, TV, intercultural communication... anything! ***I will tailor lessons to suit you and your individual goals*** Let's learn together! I will guide you as much as you need. My teaching manner is energetic, but gentle and encouraging. You can feel comfortable to try your best, and remember - making mistakes is how we learn and grow. We will discuss options for improving your English, and you can come away from the lesson with increased confidence and feeling accomplished. I look forward to meeting you soon!
