Cambridge University Graduate available for advanced English conversation & tutoring

I am a native English speaker offering online tutoring for learners of all ages and levels. I studied Music at the University of Cambridge and also hold an A Level in English Literature, which means I can bring real depth to lessons focused on literature, arts, or cultural history if that's of interest. Having studied Latin, French and German, I have a strong grounding in grammar and how language works, providing me with the tools to explain English grammar clearly and help students understand the logic behind it. I have spent the last five years working in publishing, so I am well placed to help with professional and workplace English, including written communication, presenting and meetings. Most of my teaching background is in music. I have taught piano, singing, and violin to students ranging from age 6 through to adults, and this has shaped me into a patient and adaptable teacher. I'm used to breaking complex ideas down into manageable steps, adjusting my approach to suit different learners, and keeping sessions engaging and enjoyable. I also enjoyed work experience as a classroom assistant in a French school, which gave me valuable insight into how people learn languages in formal education settings and the particular challenges that come with that. I can offer focused support in English grammar and technical language, or more relaxed conversational practice, depending on what you're looking for. Lessons are always built around your individual goals, whether that's building conversational confidence, improving your professional communication, or exploring a particular area of English language or culture that interests you.
